The Mohyla Open Hackathon BE FIRST 2023, organized by the Center for Analytics and Business Modeling of Sustainable Development at NaUKMA and the Department of Marketing and Business Management at NaUKMA, recently culminated in a highly successful event.

Held on November 9th for an engaging online session and followed by a vibrant offline session on November 10th at the Kyiv Academic University premises, the Hackathon brought together 12 remarkable teams from esteemed institutions like NaUKMA, NMU, KNU, and NTUU KPI. These teams showcased their ingenuity, presenting innovative projects that made a lasting impact.

During both sessions, the projects were meticulously evaluated by a prestigious jury consisting of representatives from renowned companies such as Genesis, Lustdorf, RIA.com, UKRNOIVI, and KAU. Their diligent efforts and expert assessments contributed significantly to the event’s success.

The winners of the Hackathon are as follows:

In the online session, the “Self Dimming Film” team (NaUKMA) claimed the first prize, with the second prize secured by the “NomNom Navigator” team (NaUKMA).

In the offline session, the “OUTEX” team (a collaboration from NTUU KPI, NaUKMA, and KNU) clinched the first place. The second place was achieved by Team Able (NaUKMA), while the third place was shared between the MED AI (NMU) and NAVIHEAR (NaUKMA) teams, showcasing remarkable accomplishments.

The success of this event was made possible by the valuable contributions of all participants, partners, and guests. Their boundless energy, unwavering enthusiasm, and innovative spirit truly made this Hackathon an unforgettable experience.

The event was conducted in collaboration with the SMART4FUTURE project and as part of the implementation of the 4InnoPipe project, emphasizing our commitment to fostering innovation and development.
